I am starting a new blog – in Danish- and you can find me here

My first blog entry is just a welcome but remember to check new entries during the week because a give away (for Danish viewers only -sorry) is just around the corner….

Giving it another try

What an amazing give away at www.susirydahl.blogspot.com

I so hope to win this one

Pro Knit Needle case

Trine asked me if I would make her a Pro Knit needle case for her and this is the result. I was inspired by the plastic needle cases that the needles are born with and www.duddelutte.blogspot.com . Trine is happy with the needle case and I am happy not to make one again. It requieres lots of math skills.

A sparkling mermaid

Vigga, my very cute niece, likes mermaids and of course I had to make her a mermaid. At first I couldn’t decide if I was going to make the mermaid of felt or give it a try to crochet a mermaid.

As you can see…I chose to crochet a mermaid. Didn’t have a pattern so I just crocheted along and here is the result. I added lots of glitter and instead of a pearl in the seashell I chose to decorate with “diamond” (Vigga LOVES diamonds).

I hope that Vigga likes the sparkling mermaid and that she is making me a nice mermaid drawing….

Crochet Stacking Toy

Stacking toys crocheted from a www.LionBrand.com pattern.

Must Have Crochet Book

I am entering this GIVE AWAY at

This is what I sent a very special lady for her birthday, 16th of January:

The notebook is made from a pattern in the book:

“Flowerpower patchwork”

The book shows beautiful colored patchwork project but I chose this quiet design for the notebook because I couldn’t find any fabric in a specific green color. So I decided to crochet a flower instead and made the notebook more discrete looking. Ok… I know… I am a chicken when it comes to using colors…. Sorry Karen but I hope you liked it anyway?
